Driven by their passion and expertise, internationally recognized winemaker Paul Hobbs and 4th generation Cahors vintner Bertrand Gabriel Vigouroux established Crocus, a quest to redefine Malbec in its birthplace. Crocus wines are composed of Malbec selected from three recognized Cahors terroirs provided by the Massif Central mountains and the meandering Lot river in southwest France.
L’Atelier emphasizes authentic Cahors Malbec with a hint of modernity, showing a very accessible wine with bright fruit and rustic earthiness. The fruits are selected predominantly from the 4th and 3rd terrace. 'L’Atelier' refers to the artisan’s workshop, where skill, creativity and passion make art.
