Erath wines are an expression of the land that the winery has cultivated for more than 40 years, longer than any other winery in the Dundee Hills of Oregon. The red, iron-rich Jory soils, combined with gentle breezes and warming sunshine of a marine climate, have bestowed upon Dundee a terroir of note. It has given rise to the handcrafting phenomenon, and the art of Pinot. There is a place in Oregon wine country where EARTH and HEART intersect. It is called ERATH. For Leah Adint, the love of winemaking has taken her around the world, giving her unique experiences that she brings to her role as Winemaker at Erath Winery. As part of the Erath winemaking team, Adint is excited about the sense of community Oregon has. "They have such a strong relationship to the land, to each other, to sustainability, to finding the gentler way of growing grapes and making wine. It will be great to explore each microclimate, seeing the landscape change throughout the seasons, and finding new favorite wines to bring home." - LEAH ADINT, WINEMAKER
