J Winemaker Nicole Hitchcock follows in Founder Judy Jordan’s footsteps by starting in the vineyards. Selecting the right Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir from a combination of estate vineyards and long term growers, Nicole crafts a portfolio of delicate, expressive wines. From there, Nicole and her team use a minimalist approach throughout winemaking and aging for a true sense of place. Whether it’s staying true to tradition by using the Methode Traditionelle to craft J sparkling wines or keeping all lots separate from handharvest to bottling, Nicole pours her passion for this region into each vintage.
