At the age of 17, Seibei left Japan to explore the world. He smuggled himself out of the country on a boat and traveled across Europe. In his travels, he learned the craft of brewing before returning home as the first German-trained brewmaster in Japan. To this day, his legacy and his pioneering spirit live on in every beer we brew.
