Torresella is a village in the countryside of Portogruaro. On this site, our founder, Count Gaetano Marzotto, created his agricultural estate, including housing and recreational facilities for those who tended the land. After gaining expertise in 1952, as a pioneer in Prosecco, the family-owned winery was born. Since its fruition in 1984, Torresella has produced authentic Venetian wines that reflect our estate's strong commitment to nature. This unique relationship with the environment is symbolized on every label by our logo: a growing grapevine with a little egret bird (called garzetta) from Veneto's distinctive ecosystem.
Our sustainably farmed wines use only natural products (not synthetically derived) in the vineyards and use lightweight packaging to reduce the carbon footprint for years. As of 2012, the solar panels on our winery's roof have made us completely energy self-sufficient. As of the 2019 Prosecco DOC and Pinot Grigio DOC vintage and the 2020 vintage of Prosecco Rose DOC, our vineyards received the SQNPI certification stamp, which is an accolade that further shows our sustainable practices and agricultural environmentalism.
