VIDE was launched out of New York by Ryan Laverty and Sal Campisi. Both Penn State graduates, the two identified an opportunity in early 2019 for spirit-based, canned beverage that boasted quality, convenience and more importantly, transparency. Ryan and Sal, both like-minded & health-conscious consumers, searched for a product that was for health-minded people like themselves, but could not find anything in the market that fit their needs. They wanted something subtly flavored, easy to drink and wasn't loaded with a bunch of additives. Their thought process was clean and minimal- both for the brand and the liquid. The two launched the product in New York City in the summer of 2019, hustling the streets to sell cases and open accounts. Since then, VIDE has expanded into 10 states around the country, eclipsing close to 3,000 retailers nationally. VIDE sells a lineup of both vodka sodas and tequila sodas. All VIDE products have zero sugar, zero carbs, 99 calories, 5% ABV and are gluten free.
